The R&D IT Capability Team plays a crucial role in supporting complex drug projects and driving digitization in Chemistry, Manufacturing, and Controls (CMC). The Business Analyst (BA) will work closely with business leads and R&D IT Platforms to improve user experience and ensure alignment with strategic initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills to engage and influence multiple teams.
• Ability to translate scientific needs to IT requirements for developers.
• Minimum of a bachelor's degree in IT, Science, or equivalent subject.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in IT and/or the Sciences.

Nice To Haves

• Understanding of the R&D space in the life sciences domain.
• Knowledge of AI and modern technology capabilities.
• Experience with data pipelines and modern analytics tools.
• Experience with change management and modern process improvement.
• Familiarity with agile software development practices.
• Expertise with process tools like JIRA, Confluence, and understanding of GIT and CI/CD tools.
• Exposure/knowledge of wire-framing and prototyping tools (e.g., Axure, Balsamiq).
• SCRUM master or Project Manager certification.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and input into the organization, design, and data flow of systems, models, and processes.
• Partner with business teams to understand the 'why' of solutions and how they align with strategic initiatives.
• Run business workflow mapping sessions and conduct interviews with scientific subject matter experts.
• Create new business cases by translating business requirements into development plans.
• Present findings to business stakeholders, including Steering Teams and departmental meetings.
• Attend PI Planning sessions to identify functional and technical requirements.
• Translate requirements into design specifications reflecting Functional Design, User Interface Design, and Business Process Design.
