About The Position

In this role, you’ll be a key contributor to our R&D product development team and will gain valuable experience supporting our business. You will work in a variety of areas within R&D such as product formulation, bench top development, nutritional analysis, sensory testing, pilot plant runs and production runs. Throughout the summer you will own a key project relating to a relevant R&D initiative and have the opportunity to present your insights and recommendations for business leadership. Outside of this, you will partake in several development workshops and build connections with your Intern class and our business leaders through social & networking events.

Requirements

• Current junior undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree majoring in Food Science or related field.
• Clear written communication and strong interpersonal skills.
• Self-starter and highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Contribute to R&D product development team.
