Requirements

  • Academic background in Polymer Science, Textile Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Hands-on experience with CAD software, textile manufacturing technologies, and statistical analysis methods.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and document a framework for Enka structure design, including filament configurations and polymer material selection.
  • Create comprehensive reports and presentations to guide new engineers and designers in future product development.
  • Assist in planning and executing a Design of Experiments (DoE), producing documentation to support training and baseline development efforts.
  • Utilize CAD software to model and refine 3D structural geometries for testing and analysis.
  • Conduct ASTM-compliant testing to evaluate compression strength across variable combinations of shape, filament diameter, and line speed, identifying optimal performance parameters.
