About The Position

JOB DUTIES: Perform laboratory experiments involving various materials, formulas, and products under the supervision of the Director of R&D and R&D Process Engineer. Prepare reports of experimental and process results. Assist in data accumulation, analysis, and reporting. Execute short-term projects in process efficiency and improvement. With the support and guidance of the R&D Supervisor, Engineer, and Technician, utilize different pieces of industrial and small-scale equipment for product development support and physical properties testing. Complete assigned training and paperwork. Organize and maintain accurate records. Use PPE when required. Adhere to company policies and procedures. Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a clean and safe workplace. Perform any other duties that may be required or assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum Junior in college pursuing a degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Proficient computer skills, especially Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Power Point, and Excel)
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Good interpersonal skills in dealing with employees, management, and vendors
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Must pass mandatory pre-employment drug test, physical, and criminal background check
