About The Position

Legend Biotech is seeking a highly motivated Research and Development Intern to join the Novel Car Design R D team in Piscataway, NJ for our 2025 Summer Internship Program, which will run from June 9th, 2025, to August 15th, 2025. This internship will focus on advancing our assessment of in vivo CAR T cell platform. This role will provide hands-on experience in preclinical research and adoptive cell therapy, providing the intern with the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge experiments and data analysis that drive innovation in our research program.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in (or recently graduated from) a Bachelor's or Master's program in Biology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Immunology, or related field.
• Preferred to have basic laboratory skills with some hands-on experience in mammalian cell culture (immune cells) and other standard molecular biology techniques, including flow cytometry, qPCR/ddPCR, and immunoassays.
• The ideal candidate would also have some CAR T/NK or CAR gamma-delta T experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Works well independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing laboratory experiments, including mammalian cell culture, virus preparation, and performing immunological and biochemical assays.
• Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, data, and observations in lab notebooks.
• Analyze experimental results and prepare data summaries or reports for team discussions.
• Collaborate with senior scientists and team members to troubleshoot and optimize protocols.
