Requirements

  • Rising senior undergraduate or master's candidate in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or related field).
  • Coursework or project experience in basic electronic circuits (amplifiers, mixers, ADC, DAC, etc.).
  • Demonstrated interest or experience in digital, analog, RF, or microwave circuit design.
  • Strong problem-solving and quantitative analysis skills; ability to learn quickly and work independently.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, thriving in a collaborative design environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to signal-processing block diagrams such as phase-locked loops (PLLs), down-conversion chains, and/or ADC-based sampling architectures.
  • Demonstrated examples of designs you have personally completed, validated, and tested.
  • Familiarity with printed-circuit (PC) layout tools and circuit-simulation platforms (e.g., ADS or comparable software).
  • Experience with one or more FPGA development environments.
  • Hands-on experience using electronic test and measurement equipment (oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, AWGs, etc.).
  • Comfort with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) and experience creating clear technical presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the full hardware lifecycle—requirements capture, investigation, product definition, design, implementation, test, production, and lifecycle maintenance.
  • Design and develop electronic circuits to achieve specified functions.
  • Test the performance of new hardware subassemblies and troubleshoot issues.
  • Collaborate with engineers, customers, manufacturing, and software teams worldwide.
  • Support a specific R&D project (scope scaled to your experience).
  • Building and modifying complete oscilloscope prototypes.
  • Testing and troubleshooting new product prototypes.
  • Assisting with leading-edge breadboard evaluation and turn-on.

Benefits
