You will be assigned R&D development tasks, supporting current or upcoming features. You will work closely with an experienced R&D team on active projects. The assignments will allow you to work in a cross-functional team that is developing our newest products. As an Intern, you will apply your coursework to a focused hands-on project. At the same time, you will gain and apply knowledge about Keysight's products and technologies in your assignment.

  • Develop & deliver new firmware features
  • Build and maintain close relationships with Marketing, R&D Hardware Engineers, R&D Software engineers, QA, and Production teams
  • Assist in the creation of the theory of operation documentation for instruments
  • Find a balance between customer satisfaction and financial impact on Keysight
  • Actively participate in reliability improvement teams
  • Currently enrolled in school pursuing BS (Junior or Senior) or MS Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science degree
  • Programming skills using multiple programming languages such as C, C#, C++, JAVA, Assembly, Matlab, Verilog, VHDL
  • Experience operating and programming RF and microwave test equipment
  • Excellent English - written and oral communications skills
  • Ability to convey complex ideas clearly and succinctly
  • Excellent teamwork skills, commitment to the task, creativity in problem-solving
  • Work collaboratively to solve difficult technical problems
  • California Pay Range: $38.77 -$41.75 Hourly
  • Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above
