The R&D Engineering Manager for New Product Development at Flowserve is responsible for overseeing the entire product development process, from concept to production.   • Collaborate with marketing to develop and implement a strategic roadmap for new product development.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the development of new products from ideation to launch, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Oversee the product design process, collaborating with engineering, design, and manufacturing teams to develop innovative and high-quality products.
  • Manage the product development lifecycle, including concept development, prototyping, testing, and production.
  • Collaborate with supply chain and manufacturing teams to ensure product quality, cost efficiency, and timely delivery.
  • Coordinate with regulatory, legal, and compliance teams to ensure products meet all industry standards and regulations.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop a team of 8-12 designers and engineers to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Set clear objectives, performance goals, and development plans for team members.
  • Drive a customer-centric approach to product development, ensuring products meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
  • 8 years of engineering experience.
  • Experience leading teams in product development, product management, or a related role.
  • Proven track record of successfully launching new products and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with product development projects.
  • Proven ability to mentor and coach team members, fostering their professional development.
  • Knowledge of Agile or Lean product development methodologies.
