The Advanced Manufacturing and Materials Engineering Division of Applied Research Lab (ARL) is looking for several highly motivated undergraduate students to assist with various activities in the Materials Science Division. This position would be for a Research and Development Engineer Intern. Typical duties for a broad range of programs involving gear train technology, additive manufacturing, powder processing, cold spray manufacturing, robotics, testing, modeling and simulation, and characterization include assisting with: Material synthesis, Device fabrication, Process simulation for fabrication, Development of advanced materials and material systems. The successful candidates will work up to 20 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters and 40 hours/week over the summer. This is a paid internship located at ARL’s Innovation Park location; relocation and housing are not provided.
