About The Position

The R D DFT Engineer for 3D and 2.5D Devices at Siemens Digital Industries Software is responsible for enhancing software and hardware design solutions in Electronic Design Automation. This role involves collaborating with an international team to develop innovative products, focusing on manufacturing test methodologies and design-for-test (DFT) strategies. Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical & Computer Engineering; PhD preferred.
• Coursework and project experience with VLSI design, HDL Synthesis, VLSI testing, and design-for-test (DFT).
• Deep knowledge of DFT structures such as scan methodology, scan compression, logic built-in self-test (BIST), boundary scan, and ATPG.
• Strong background in 3D IC test with understanding of interconnect test and repair.
• Strong EDA background with C/C++, TCL, and Python skills for project implementation and technology development.
• Good understanding of IEEE 1500, IEEE 1687, and IEEE 1838 standards.
• Experience with design, simulation, and verification of ASIC/VLSI circuits and systems.

Nice To Haves

• Exposure to Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI).
• Familiarity with UNIX and LINUX operating systems.
• Experience with Tessent CAD tools (TestKompress, FastScan, Memory BIST, Diagnosis).
• Expertise in Verilog, SystemVerilog, or VHDL (Behavioral, RTL, and gate level).
