Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or related field).
• 5+ years of experience in product development, preferably in aerospace or high-performance environments.
• Experience with engineering modeling tools (thermal, structural, vibration) and simulation techniques.
• Strong skills in technical documentation, test planning, and analysis.
• Knowledge of ASME/ANSI standards, aerospace materials, GD&T, and prototyping practices.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate new design concepts through prototyping, test fixture development, and hands-on experimentation to support new servovalve applications.
• Document design attributes and build predictive models for valve and torque motor performance, including thermal, stress, and vibration behavior.
• Generate correlation and calibration data to validate engineering simulation models.
• Conduct and participate in internal and customer-attended design reviews; assess customer specifications and ensure compliance.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including test plans, procedures, engineering reports, and specifications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges related to product feasibility, development, optimization, and support.
• Provide technical support to procurement, quality, design/drafting, and manufacturing teams; assist in transitioning projects to production.
• Maintain knowledge of aerospace industry standards and best practices.
• Apply basic project management principles to assigned tasks.
• Contribute to Lean and continuous improvement efforts.
