About The Position

The R D and Packaging STEM Summer Internship Program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the Research & Development (R D) function at The Estée Lauder Companies. This 12-week internship, based in Melville, New York or Blaine, Minnesota, allows interns to collaborate on high-priority projects that are instrumental to the R D function and the overall success of the business. Interns will have access to state-of-the-art research, equipment, and skills training, as well as networking opportunities with senior management and other departments. Interns will gain valuable experience by working on projects that translate innovative ideas into breakthrough products, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance in packaging design, and transferring packaging concepts into finished designs. They will also have the opportunity to present their learnings and insights to senior management at the end of the program, and may be eligible for a full-time or 2026 Summer Internship offer based on their performance.
