About The Position

Responsibilities: Lead the preparation and assembly of racecars, including chassis setup, subassemblies, and suspension components, under the direction of the R&D Leader. Ensure all build specifications are strictly followed, delivering a final product that meets high standards of quality and safety. Assist the R&D Leader with pre-assembly tasks including the fitment of test and development parts, providing detailed feedback and documentation on potential improvements and issues. Serve as lead mechanic during private team tests, tire tests, manufacturer evaluations, straight-line tests, marketing events, and select race events as required. Work efficiently to meet critical build deadlines and maintain overall project timelines. Mentor junior mechanics, promoting quality control and fostering a positive, growth-oriented learning environment. Actively contribute to the improvement of processes, materials, equipment, personnel, and technical knowledge in collaboration with the R&D Leader. Train team members on both shop and track-based equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Verify that all checklists are accurately completed and documented. Maintain a clean, organized workspace both in the shop and at the racetrack, working closely with the R&D Leader to uphold professional standards. Minimum Qualifications: The successful candidate will have at minimum of a high school diploma Minimum 10 years technical experience in professional motorsport or related field 1. Motorsports technician / crew chief background IndyCar, NASCAR, IMSA, WEC or F1 championships preferred Minimum 10 years of Professional motorsports track experience Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on innovation and continuous improvement required Strong organizational skills Effective communication and collaboration skills required Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals. Excellent mentoring skills, with a passion for developing team members is required Desired / Preferred Qualifications: Microsoft Suite 1. Excel experience preferred 2. SharePoint experience preferred 3. Outlook experience Preferred Experience mentoring technicians Good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal)

Requirements
