About The Position

As the Keyholder, you will be responsible for overall presentation of store, staff, inventory, and sales. You will take on the responsibilities of the store manager in their absence. You will support the Apparel & Footwear areas. You will report to the Retail Store Manager.

Requirements

  • 1 - 3 years retail management experience supervising 15 - 25 employees.
  • Prior department or specialty store, jewelry or apparel merchandising experience.
  • Ability to lift, push and/or pull items weighing up to 40lbs or with assistance over for over 40lbs.
  • You will be on your feet for majority of your shift.
  • Working knowledge of loss prevention and inventory control.
  • High School Graduate or equivalent.
  • Willing and able to use a pallet jack.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and motivate team to achieve forecasted sales goals.
  • Train, coach, motivate and develop excellence in staff of associates.
  • Assist in the store as a member of the management team including: store opening/closing, cash management, safe funds, registers, deposits, armored car and change orders.
  • Professionally handle challenges that arise in a retail environment including loss prevention, employee relations, and providing excellent customer satisfaction.
  • Work with Store Manager to communicate inventory related and promotional needs.
  • Work with on-hand resources and think outside the box to showcase merchandise appealingly.
