About The Position
In this role, you will configure and structure quotes in Salesforce CPQ, collaborating with sales representatives to understand customer needs while ensuring alignment with internal policies, system capabilities, and company objectives. You will translate sales and marketing requests into viable quote structures, finding creative solutions within system and policy parameters. Additionally, you will provide consultative guidance on CPQ system capabilities and present alternative solutions when requests don't align with company objectives or technical constraints. You will configure specialized quote configurations when possible, such as payment ramping, complex discounts, and custom billing schedules as requested by sales teams. Working with our data quality and IT teams, you will optimize contract structure and improve quoting and buying experiences. You will shepherd quotes through internal teams, from initial request to order review, providing support, guidance, and alternative options to improve sales velocity. Furthermore, you will handle sales inquiries and provide clarifications regarding quotes, including making adjustments based on seller feedback or changes in requirements. Lastly, you will contribute ideas to improve our quoting process.
