Requirements

  • College degree or equivalent and financial ratings experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of employee benefits and previous carrier booklets.
  • Understanding of organizational processes and systems.
  • Strong product knowledge, initiative, customer focus, and effective communication and teamwork.
  • Effective writing and communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assessing new employer groups (2–499 lives), responding to benefits inquiries, and requesting necessary information.
  • Reviewing RFPs, underwriting guidelines, and product offerings to determine eligibility and complete proposals with partners.
  • Scrubbing Census for completeness.
  • Setting up plan designs and understanding account structures for accurate ratings.
  • Rating supplemental health products (Critical Illness, Accident, Hospital Indemnity) in Priority Business.
  • Delivering proposals on time per quality standards.
  • Facilitating communication among team members and business partners.
  • Taking responsibility for assigned tasks, proactively escalating issues when necessary, and consistently monitoring and updating the status of each case.
  • Supporting Regional Account Executives in an effort to meet business goals.
  • Adhering to documentation standards in accordance with quality requirements.
  • Participating in weekly team huddles and actively attending performance and development calls with leader.
  • Participating in special projects, and driving process improvements.
