About The Position

Lonestar Electric Supply is looking for a Quotations Specialist who will work closely with the sales team to ensure all prospective jobs are accurately estimated for both revenue and materials associated with the electrical scope of construction projects. You will use your communication and organizational skills to partner with electrical and general contractors, manufacturers, and their representative agencies, to acquire the necessary information to provide these projections. The ideal candidate will also have a strong desire to provide superior Customer Service to exceed customer goals and expectations.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage several portfolios for various clients at one time.
  • Construction or Electrical knowledge preferred.
  • Ability to work with customers and provide excellent service.
  • Outstanding computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to multi-task while staying organized.
  • Demonstrated adaptability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic organization.
  • Experience working as part of a team.
  • Experience owning and completing projects independently.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with exemplary phone manners.
  • Lifting up to 25 lbs. may be required infrequently.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.

  • Construction or Electrical knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the sales team and customers to gain a thorough understanding of the scope and timeline of all projects assigned to you.
  • Participate in meetings involving the client’s project, including the transfer of the customer from sales to the Project Management team.
  • Gather all the information required to accurately estimate and quote projects to include cost, revenue and materials needed.
  • Prepare submittals of lighting packages for approval by the customers.
  • Obtain and maintain current information on agents’ pricing structures.
  • Expedite project quotes and prepare required client reports.
  • Communicate with all departments involved in completing the quotations.
  • Perform other duties as requested by your partners or supervisors.
