This entry-level position, referred to as "QS 1", is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and grow within the company while supporting the sales team. The Quotations Specialist will focus on basic takeoffs and enhancing their product and resource knowledge, which is crucial for the success of the sales department. The Quotations Specialist will support the Profit Center Sales Team by communicating all aspects related to quotes and proposals, identifying any issues, and bringing them to the supervisor's attention for guidance. Additionally, they will communicate any concerns regarding added risk or liability to management and perform other related duties as assigned. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with a minimum of one year of related experience, preferably in contractor sales. A comprehensive knowledge of the products sold by the Profit Center is essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office software for communication and data analysis. The successful candidate will demonstrate outstanding verbal and written communication skills, be organized and detail-oriented, and be capable of building and maintaining positive working relationships with customers, vendors, and co-workers. They should also be able to analyze quotation data to identify patterns of success or failure and adjust processes accordingly.
