Quotations Specialist I
About The Position
The Opportunity: Responsible for project quotations as requested by customers in a timely and efficient manner. All project quotations to be finalized at least 24 hours prior to bidding. Position Responsibilities: Builds and maintains relationships with customers, manufacturers, and outside sales people as directed Evaluates project requirements, architectural drawings, and lighting fixture schedules to identify lighting bill of material suitable to achieve the desired outcome of the project Provide project quotations that are efficient and competitive to local market conditions Provide quotations on both miscellaneous and project quotes as requested by customers A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required Attend product and training sessions when available Exercise independent judgement Provide quotation breakdowns in a timely manner Learns and understands SESCO Lighting’s full product offer and its functionality Bring ideas and share with the team, to promote overall company growth Other duties as assigned by manager
Requirements
- Must possess 2 – 4 years of experience in miscellaneous lighting and project quotations
- Possess general knowledge of lighting products as well as lighting controls and IOT enabled devices
- Ability to read and understand building and control drawings
- Experience in submittal creation and review
- Must have excellent math skills
- Must be able to multi-task
- Must be proficient in Word, Excel, internet research, and Outlook
