Responsibilities

  • leading through servant leadership and completing all necessary front of house and back of house duties are completed, customers have a positive experience and food preparation and presentation meet the Housing Dining standards and food safety protocols.
  • delegation of shift duty assignments to staff/students to ensure all stations are covered and maintaining appropriate order processing times.
  • overseeing the front of house and/ or back of house restaurant operations during scheduled shifts.
  • Ensure products and ingredients are stocked and available based on forecasting.
  • Train new team members.
  • Ensure presentation, quality, and food standards are met.
  • Provide excellent customer service to all guest through front end and back-end operations.
  • Greet all guests in a friendly manner and addressing guest concerns
  • Accurately entering orders into the POS system and cashier duties
  • Complete food preparation and monitoring food quality and safety
  • Ensure that food lines are adequately stocked and front end condiments are filled.
  • Operate dish machine, ensure cleaning duties, opening, and closing procedures are completed before end of shift.
  • Operate the computer for some training, email, and other related tasks.
