About The Position

As the Quick Response Center (QRC) Senior Engineering Manager, you will lead a high-impact, global team of Product Service Engineers (PSE) who are the front-line for technical issue resolution for GE Vernova’s aeroderivative gas turbine fleet. This role will combine strategic leadership, coaching, and technical domain expertise. You will be responsible for driving the technical disposition for urgent field issues, ensuring the operational reliability of the LM2500, LM6000, and LMS100 fleets, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement through Lean principles.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college OR equivalent knowledge and experience.
  • Major experience in Engineering, Operations, or Gas Turbine Services.
  • Experience as a leader of a global or multi-disciplinary technical team.
  • Direct experience with gas turbine maintenance practices and operability troubleshooting.
  • Willingness to work off-hours for support when needed.

  • Deep technical knowledge of LM2500, LM6000, and LMS100 aeroderivative gas turbines.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily and strategic leadership to a globally distributed team of Product Service Engineers to drive rapid customer issue resolution, prioritizing Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.
  • Act as a senior technical authority for aeroderivative gas turbine operability, specifically focusing on troubleshooting and resolution for LM2500, LM6000, and LMS100 models.
  • Own the operating rhythm (standard work) for the QRC, utilizing a Lean mindset to reduce response cycle times and improve technical response quality.
  • Champion a proactive approach by systematically targeting Unscheduled Engine Removal (UER) reductions and implementing strategies to reduce customer trips.
  • Own succession planning and performance reviews for the global QRC team. Attract and develop technical talent with a focus on deepening aeroderivative maintenance and design expertise.
  • Partner with Services, Product Line, and Engineering teams during high-pressure situations, such as forced outages, to ensure optimal technical support and customer satisfaction.
