Requirements

Strong knowledge of automotive systems with the ability to diagnose and repair issues quickly and accurately.
Effective analytical and communication skills with a commitment to continuous improvement.
Willingness to learn new technologies, repair and service procedures, and manufacturer specifications.
Proficiency in operating electronic diagnostic equipment.
High School Diploma or GED (required).
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

State Certification or Technical Degree (preferred).
Minimum of one year of experience in an automotive service department (preferred).

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough testing to verify that systems and components are secure and functioning properly.
Diagnose vehicle issues accurately by isolating the system or components that may have caused the problem.
Perform road tests to assess repairs and ensure all systems are operational.
Check and refill fluid levels as necessary and ensure proper tire inflation.
Replace oil filters and drain plugs, and communicate oil levels and other vehicle needs to teammates.
Maintain a high level of efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles.
Proactively identify and replace worn parts to prevent vehicle breakdowns or further damage.
Utilize power tools, machine tools, and standard hand tools to perform a variety of tasks safely and effectively.
