Requirements

  • Strong desire to learn and advance into a full-time Automotive Technician role
  • Must have effective time management skills
  • Must have effective communication skills
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Must have a clean/acceptable driving record
  • Must be willing to participate in a pre-employment background check and drug screening
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Medium Work – Medium work involves lifting no more than 50 pounds at a time with frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 pounds
  • Environment – Requires frequent exposure to heat, cold, noise, and both inside and outside conditions
  • Must be able to read, write, and have repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, climb, stretch, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Vehicle repair/oil change process experience preferred
  • GM experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Complete efficient vehicle inspections
  • Document repairs and oil level needed
  • Communicate oil level and vehicle details with other technicians
  • Ensure tire pressure for proper inflation
  • Inspect and refill fluid levels as necessary
  • Install a new oil drain plug and a new oil filter
  • Clean and lubricate fittings as needed
  • Provide excellent customer service by listening to and considering customer needs
