A Quick Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine vehicle maintenance services in a fast-paced automotive shop environment. This role focuses on oil changes, fluid checks, inspections, and basic automotive services while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Perform oil and filter changes on a wide variety of vehicles
Inspect and top off all vital fluids (coolant, transmission, brake, windshield, power steering, etc.)
Rotate and inspect tires as needed
Replace air filters, cabin filters, wiper blades, and light bulbs
Perform chassis lubrication services
Check and replace batteries when required
Conduct multi-point inspections to identify maintenance needs or safety concerns
Inspect belts, hoses, tires, and brakes
Communicate findings clearly to service advisors or customers
Keep bays clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Properly dispose of used oil, filters, and other materials
Maintain equipment and report any repair needs
Greet and assist customers professionally
Explain recommended services clearly and honestly
Ensure vehicles are cared for respectfully and returned in a clean condition

Basic automotive knowledge
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to learn and follow procedures
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record

Previous experience in automotive or quick-lube service
Familiarity with vehicle maintenance tools and equipment
