Requirements

  • Vocational or technical certification in Auto Repair or related fields is highly recommended.
  • Minimum of one year experience as a Lube Technician or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of basic automotive maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Excellent practical skills and the ability to quickly identify and rectify faults.
  • Strong customer service skills and the ability to professionally communicate with customers.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced, busy environment.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and perform preventative maintenance on vehicles as required, including but not limited to oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid level checks.
  • Perform various duties like greasing parts, replacing filters, and replenishing vehicle fluids.
  • Inspect vehicles to detect any defects or damages and report these to the supervisor immediately.
  • Follow all company safety policies and protocols while performing maintenance services and repairs.
  • Keep accurate logs of all services performed on each vehicle and update customer records accordingly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, explaining all repairs and services, and ensuring customers are kept informed about their vehicle's status.
  • Participate in all professional development training and workshops as required by the company.
