About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Safely operate off-road and on-road haul trucks to transport aggregate materials within and from the quarry Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to ensure equipment is safe and operational Load, haul, and unload materials efficiently while following site traffic patterns and safety rules Communicate clearly with dispatch, load operators, and site personnel to support daily production goals Maintain awareness of surroundings and adjust driving practices to changing site and weather conditions
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial or heavy vehicles in industrial environments
- Strong commitment to safety procedures, policies, and situational awareness
- Ability to follow instructions, site rules, and regulatory requirements
- Willingness to work collaboratively as part of a team in a production-driven environment
- Capability to perform physical tasks associated with quarry operations
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing
