About The Position

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, or systems.
Heavy equipment operation if needed.
Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs.
Monitoring and adjusting production processes.
Performing routine maintenance on machinery.
Troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Communicating with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow.
Able to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
Diagnose and fix mechanical problems quickly and efficiently.
Maintain quarry organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experienced fixed plant mechanic, certified welder, understands crushing/screening/power transmission.
2+ years’ experience in a Rock Quarry Plant preferred.
Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
Must have a valid driver's license
Attention to detail.
The ability to work well in a team.
Strong communication skills.
Strong understanding of safety protocols

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Standing for prolonged periods of time
Lifting

Works in many different weather conditions
Bending
