About The Position

Capital Materials is looking to fill the position of Quarry Laborer in Linn Creek, MO. You will work as part of a team to maintain and operate rock-crushing equipment. You will be doing maintenance and manual labor to keep the plant clean. Safety is a top priority.

Requirements

Perform maintenance on quarry equipment (crushers, screens, conveyors).
Valid driver’s license
Lift/move up to 50 lbs.
Work outdoors in all weather conditions
Work overtime, nights, weekends, as needed
Reliable transportation
Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Nice To Haves

Mechanical skills, welding, fabricating, or electrical skills are a plus

Responsibilities

Maintain the quarry by keeping it clean and free of obstructions
Keep work platforms clean and free of material
Perform minor servicing and maintenance on equipment as needed, using ladders to access platforms and landings.
Use shovel, broom, sweeper, and other tools and equipment, as needed
Display good communication skills including the ability to understand and follow verbal and written directions and instructions.
Operate skid steer, haul truck and water truck, as needed
