Quantum (superconducting) Intern
About The Position
At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology. The ideal candidate will have a superconducting background and a basic level of understanding of the devices required to enable superconducting quantum (varied type of transmons qubits a minimum). Ideally, the candidate will have some previous exposure to Qiskit and understand the set of primitive and how they are parameterized and generated. The expected end-product of the internship is a Virtuoso-based QDK, that enable creating representative (as complete as possible) set of physical qubits, control lines, and coupling. Previous exposure to development in the Virtuoso environment a real plus. Together, we will define the “virtual” process for this QDK, the list of devices and their characteristics. Job based in San Jose, onsite, full time. Minimum 3 months. The annual salary range for California is $28.60 to $53.12 an hour. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
