About The Position

Quantum Physicist The Opportunity: Are you excited about the prospect of unlocking the secrets held by quantum information science? Are you fascinated by the possibilities presented by quantum computing and sensing advances? We have an opportunity for you to use your analytical and experimental skills to improve and accelerate quantum capabilities for the U.S. Government. You’ll work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide direct quantum support. Requirements

Experience leading and managing small to medium-sized quantum research projects
Experience developing quantum algorithms to explore future advantage using real-world data
Experience coding with quantum SDKs, including Qiskit
Ability to convey complex concepts and work collaboratively with a varied audience, both written and verbal
Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
Bachelor's degree in Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science

Nice To Haves

Experience in data science or computer engineering
Experience with leading the development of technology business plans and roadmaps, building and managing teams of scientists and engineers to execute against business plans, and managing associated resources, such as hardware and funding
Doctorate degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field
