As a Logiqal hardware intern, you’ll work directly with our physicists and engineers to help build our next‑generation quantum computer. Intern projects are designed to be technically substantial, contributing directly to our optical, mechanical, atomic physics, or software systems. We welcome applicants from physics, electrical engineering, computer science, optics, mechanical engineering, applied math, and related fields. If you’re curious, driven, and love building hard things, we want to hear from you. You would be a particularly strong fit if you have experience in one or more of: Atomic physics, optics, or laser physics Experimental data acquisition and analysis Programming (Python/C++) and computational physics Mechanical engineering as well as general strengths in: Analytical and problem‑solving skills Ability to design, build, debug, and iterate quickly Working in a fast‑paced, experimental environment Curiosity, initiative, and a love of building real hardware This role is open to current students at the undergraduate, MS or PhD level at US-based institutions. This internship is on‑site at our lab near Princeton, New Jersey. The compensation band for this role is $25-$40/hour, with an additional housing stipend if you are relocating to the Princeton area.
