Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in software development or quantum algorithms
  • Experience in laboratory or agile software development environments
  • Experience with quantum algorithms, quantum software development, or quantum computing applications
  • Experience with Python, C, C++, or Rust
  • Knowledge of quantum computing hardware, control electronics, and environmental control requirements
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing or establishing multi-organization collaborations
  • Experience with vendor vetting and relationship management
  • Experience managing teams of scientists, engineers, or developers
  • Experience in quantum materials, qubit control, or quantum information science, demonstrated through certifications, professional experience, or publications
  • Experience performing research in quantum mechanics and the quantum effects that enable quantum computing, quantum sensing, or quantum networking
  • Possession of excellent collaboration skills across different technical backgrounds
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, to communicate complex concepts
  • Master's degree in Physics, Computer Science, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred; Doctorate degree in Physics, Material Science, or Mechanical or Electrical Engineering a plus
