Gallup is accepting applications for the Quantitative Social Science Intern position for the summer of 2025. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable experience in research methods, analytics, and the communication of research findings. As an intern at Gallup's Riverfront campus in Omaha, Nebraska, you will be an integral part of our world-class research team, contributing to research efforts that address some of the world's most pressing issues. Interns will engage in hands-on learning experiences that encompass both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, including the collection, analysis, writing, and presentation of data across various topics within the Global Analytics division. Interns will have the chance to design and implement surveys, analyze data from nationally and globally representative surveys, participate in focus groups, collaborate with consultants and clients, and write about research findings for a non-technical audience. Previous interns have worked on projects that involved investigating data quality for opt-in samples, collaborating on published articles, and analyzing Gallup data related to social wellbeing and loneliness. Gallup has a rich history of 90 years in setting the gold standard for survey and social science research methodology, providing interns with access to a wealth of data and insights on the attitudes and behaviors of diverse populations. We are looking for passionate learners who are eager to leverage their research talents and curiosity to make impactful discoveries. Ideal candidates will be collaborative partners who can build genuine relationships with both internal stakeholders and external clients. We seek organized overachievers who are self-motivated and driven to exceed expectations in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Analytical researchers who thrive on generating theories, creating surveys, conducting research, and analyzing data will find this internship particularly rewarding.
