Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) is responsible for the development and support of models and methodologies for the quantification of risk. QRM also carries out quantitative analysis and other analytical support for DTCC's risk management and other business needs.

  • Conduct quantitative research/analysis related to model development, maintenance, and performance monitoring.
  • Conduct quantitative risk analysis to support other business units.
  • Build and maintain model prototypes for model development.
  • Facilitate model risk management activities.
  • Facilitate model specification and model engine test with Risk Technology team.
  • Maintain key data source for groups model development and quantitative analyses.
  • Mitigates risk by following established procedures and monitoring controls, spotting key errors and demonstrating strong ethical behavior.
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in quantitative Modeling and financial market risk management
  • Master's degree or higher in a quantitative field of study
  • Strong analytical, quantitative and problem solving skills, as well as demonstrative research skills
  • Good communication skills, both oral and written
  • Attention to detail and focus on quality of deliverables
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Python and / or SQL
