Our team of hands-on and highly technical quant investors is looking for a Quantitative Portfolio Analyst. We’re looking for someone with strong technical, finance and organizational skills. In addition to portfolio management this role will interface with multiple teams and spearhead communication for day to day portfolio management activities.

Requirements

  • Quantitative background preferred (e.g., mathematics, statistics, physics, computer science, engineering, finance).
  • Familiarity with quantitative portfolio management, global market structure, equity trading, and portfolio management basics.
  • Proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages; experience with SQL and data ‑ pipeline tools is a plus.
  • 3-5 years in investment related experience
  • Undergraduate, Master’s, or PhD degrees majoring in mathematics, statistics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, economics, or related fields strongly preferred; CFA preferred

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Portfolio Implementation, Trading and Compliance to solve daily issues in portfolio management.
  • Coordinate with Account Service Group for assistance in portfolio flows and new account onboarding.
  • Implement portfolio trade lists and rebalancing workflows under supervision of senior PMs
  • Monitor portfolio performance, risk exposures, and cash level flag anomalies and deviations, conduct investigation if necessary
  • Leverage existing quantitative tools and systems for portfolio analysis, conduct empirical research on alpha signals exposure, market microstructure, trading cost analysis and portfolio optimization issues.
