About The Position

Join a dynamic investment team at Guggenheim Partners as an Investment Analyst, contributing to our Total Return Fixed Income strategies. This role has an emphasis on programming and quantitative skills. The Investment Analyst position is a full-time position for current undergraduate or graduate students who anticipate graduating by June 2026. Candidates should be top performers who are willing to work hard in an entrepreneurial environment where initiative, creativity, maturity, and enthusiasm for learning are highly valued. This position begins July 2026.

Requirements

  • Advanced programming experience (VBA and/or Python preferred)
  • Limited travel may be required

Responsibilities

  • Assist Portfolio Managers on the Total Return Fixed Income Team with daily portfolio activities including trade allocations, exposure monitoring, re-balancing, hedging and cash flow management, and responding to ad-hoc requests
  • Act as a technically-skilled, programming resource for the team
  • Develop programming solutions to enhance process efficiencies, create customized risk reports, back-test strategies, and generate investment ideas
  • Prepare client update materials and presentations draft market commentaries, and conduct performance attribution analysis
  • Collaborate with sector analysts and traders to identify and evaluate securities for potential investment or sale
  • Cultivate deep expertise in fixed income concepts and products
  • Effectively communicate with investment professionals across Guggenheim Partners’ various investment groups, including Account Management, Product Strategy, Operations, and Sector Research teams.
  • Progress toward CFA charter is required. Successful candidates should complete CFA Level 1 within 18 months of their start date.
