About The Position

The Quantitative Analyst will support portfolio managers and traders by delivering high-impact quantitative analysis, risk reporting, and model development across Constellation's investment platform. In this fast-paced, collaborative role, you'll contribute to strategies spanning Asset-Backed Finance, High Yield, Investment Grade Credit, and Derivatives. You'll also partner closely with teams across the organization including Pricing, Investment Operations, Risk, Valuation, Accounting, and IT, to help drive informed investment decisions and strengthen portfolio performance. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree in Mathematical Finance, Data Science, or a similar discipline is preferred.
  • 0-2 years of experience supporting an investment team or developing analytical or technical infrastructure in a financial environment.
  • Strong programming fundamentals with experience in languages such as Python, C++, and VBA.
  • Hands-on experience with relational database systems (e.g., SQL Server, MS Access) and comfort working with large datasets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and investment-focused teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build quantitative tools and analytical models that support portfolio management, risk reporting, hedge strategy development, and derivatives collateral management.
  • Contribute to quantitative research and project work that advances the Investment Team's strategic goals and analytics capabilities.
  • Create ad-hoc reports and data extracts using SQL and other analytical tools to inform trading decisions and strengthen risk oversight.
  • Enhance code efficiency and deliver innovative technical solutions that support new products, changing market conditions, and evolving business needs.
  • Design, maintain, and expand system infrastructure to support future model development and ensure scalable, reliable analytics as the company grows.
  • Partner with IT, Financial Operations, and other internal teams to enhance portfolio risk reporting metrics and improve enterprise-wide investment insights.
