Susquehanna is hiring a software developer for our Strategy Development team. This is a computationally intensive role that will allow you to utilize both your data analysis and technology skills. You'll enhance, refine, and evolve strategies by searching for the optimal parameterization. We're looking for someone who has experience with performance-sensitive C# or Java knowledge, but familiarity with C++ is also a plus. In this role, you will: * Have the unique opportunity to become the expert on specific strategies and exchanges that you are responsible for in the equity and derivatives markets. * Be on the front lines of the business, iterating with quants and traders to come up with new features and enhance existing strategies. * Be involved in the full SDLC, from requirements gathering, to designing and implementing new strategies, through to troubleshooting and reconciling live trading versus actual and expected results. What you can expect from us: Real Impact: By integrating sophisticated coding techniques with innovative engineering ideas, we design and optimize systems that can process massive amounts of data while still ensuring high performance and stability. You'll see how your contributions towards developing and supporting leading-edge hardware and software technologies make a firm-wide impact that makes us all smarter, faster, and better. Collaboration: You will partner closely with our Strategy Developers and Quantitative Researchers to translate complex trading problems into scalable and highly performant hardware solutions. Growth: For many of our roles, we don't expect you to have prior industry experience in proprietary trading or financial services to succeed at Susquehanna International Group. We're looking for people who are naturally curious, relentless problem solvers, and have the desire to continuously innovate, learn, and grow.
