About The Position

The primary focus of this role will be addressing and resolving customer quality issues through timely response and appropriate actions. Supporting warranty team members in training efforts, standard reporting and problem solving.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree from an accredited institution OR minimum 3 years Manufacturing Experience with High School Diploma required

  • Must be able to work overtime – weekdays and weekends.
  • Advanced computer skills using MS Office applications such as Word and Excel
  • Ability to work in a team environment and work cross-functionally with multiple teams
  • Maintains a sensitivity to customer satisfaction and provides excellent customer service.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
  • Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial, electrical, mechanical or engineering technology from an accredited institution
  • Experience with at least 2 Asheville products (LVA, MVC, MVD, ATS)
  • Minimum 3 years of product testing, troubleshooting or design experience

Responsibilities

  • Define problem, classify whether product warranty or customer responsibility and conduct timely, economical, and positive corrective action.
  • Coordinate shipment of material(s) and authorize field service when necessary.
  • Authorize return of product for inspection, failure analysis and/or material disposition.
  • Document all actions and related information in a warranty database.
  • Coordinate warranty evaluation and remediation between plant resources, product line management, project management (PMO), and customer.
  • Represent product warranty in quality council meetings.
