About the position

Scout Motors is embarking on an exciting greenfield project and is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Quality Trainer to join our Production Quality Department. This individual will be responsible for developing comprehensive training programs and delivering engaging, effective training sessions to ensure all personnel are equipped with the knowledge and skills needed to uphold the highest quality standards in our green field factory in Blythewood.

Responsibilities

  • Training of Team members/Team leaders/supervisors/specialists/technicians
  • Developing training for Quality Fundamental Skills, Process and Quality Improvement, Product Integrity, Analysis, Quality Management and Production Quality
  • Serves as Master Trainer for Quality training modules
  • Identifies annual training needs and training gaps in Quality Department and throughout the organization
  • Planning and facilitation of the training, qualification, recording of documentation including retention of records using both the LMS and/or other tracking systems
  • Negotiate with Department management, develop and announce training schedule
  • Issues certification of competence
  • Investigate equipment requirements and develop proposal for budget planning
  • Develop Training curriculum and Introduce training data into a learning management system
  • Collect and evaluate data, analyze that data
  • Conduct performance gap analysis/problem solving to determine the root cause of defects
  • Support teams in problem solving activities
  • Participate in workshops to meet and exceed company goals and objectives

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Industrial Engineering, Education or a related technical field
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in automotive manufacturing or automotive environment
  • Proven trainer experience in quality assurance and/or production
  • Knowledge of quality management systems, standards (e.g., ISO 9001), and production processes
  • Experience in Lean Management: Six sigma, Production Systems, lean principles
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences
  • Proficiency in creating training content using digital tools and software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability and willingness to travel internationally and domestically as needed
  • Valid driver's license
  • Passport required
