In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centres (Delivery Centres), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centres offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.   • Oversee testing for projects and applications.
  • Understand client requirements and prepare a test strategy.
  • Estimate effort and time for testing.
  • Identify dependencies and build a technical execution plan.
  • Report status to management and clients.
  • Direct and work alongside a team to develop optimized test scenarios.
  • Create models and BDD test cases.
  • Automate tests and execute test cases.
  • Resolve technical issues and manage the defect cycle.
  • Mentor team members and provide technical direction.
  • Technical proficiency in the specific COTS products being refreshed.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and processes.
  • Experience with test planning, test case design, and test execution.
  • Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile/scrum methodologies.
  • Familiarity with defect tracking tools and processes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with development teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing.
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and compliance testing.
  • Experience with API testing and integration testing.
  • Knowledge of security testing and vulnerability assessment.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
