About The Position

The Quality Technician position is a full-time role based in Ossian, IN, with a focus on ensuring the quality of company products through various testing and inspection methods. Requirements

• 3+ years of related work experience preferred.
• Associates Degree or equivalent combined educational and work experience.
• Metrology laboratory and inspection experience preferred.
• Excellent computer and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate standard equipment in test and process environments.
• Follow prescribed work methods in accomplishment of assignments including PPAP systems and GR&R methodology.
• Maintain proper laboratory and test records and files.
• Gather, correlate, and apply technical information and data to increase production and quality.
• Perform functional and material testing including filled tank drops, bursts, and fill studies.
• Conduct random dock audits and inspections.
• Perform wall dimensional checks and RotoZip cutting on welded tanks.
• Set up test and performance evaluations on products and components.
• Compile data into various chart forms such as histograms and capability charts.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, repair, modify, and suggest applications of standard or non-standard techniques.
• Perform individual assignments as directed by supervisors and ensure quality controls are exercised.

Benefits

• Full-Time position with a rate of $21.33 USD per hour.
