About The Position
The position involves setting up mechanical gaging and electrical instrumentation for the inspection of components and assemblies. The inspector will be responsible for ensuring compliance with engineering drawings, bills of material (BOM), and specifications through thorough inspection of all electrical and mechanical components. The role requires independent operation of the Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) and the use of electrical test equipment for high voltage measuring. The inspector will generate Quality Notifications for nonconforming components and will be involved in problem identification and solving of mechanical and electrical parts. Additionally, the inspector will train new inspectors, perform manufacturing audits, and maintain a safe and organized work area while collaborating closely with production staff.
