The Quality Assurance Technician will conduct Quality Assurance audits of the production facility to ensure that company standards are maintained and product integrity is preserved. This role involves consulting with management to resolve quality, production, and efficiency problems, and functioning as an information source to various company departments when special and critical quality issues occur. The technician will work in conjunction with the Manager of Quality Assurance Services on special department projects, determining overall plant product quality by conducting and evaluating various product tests related to ingredients and packaging. The role also includes resolving minor to major quality problems, evaluating and taking corrective action regarding product at all levels of product movement, and educating plant personnel in recommended quality control testing, equipment, and general sanitation and housekeeping practices. Preparation and submission of evaluation reports is a vital function of this role.

  • Conduct Quality Assurance audits of production facility.

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in oral and written form.
