Applicable Benefits: Medical Dental, Vision, and Prescription Drug Insurance Health and Wellness Incentives Paid Vacation and Holidays 401(k) with Cargill matching contributions Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) Short-Term Disability and Life Insurance Employee Assistance Program (EAP) Tuition Reimbursement Employee Discounts Principal Accountabilities: Collect, measure and weigh samples of materials of specific products based of defined procedures and specifications Test and conduct analysis of raw materials, in process or finished product using defined procedures and specifications Complete documentation and maintain records testing results with regular guidance Maintain a clean and safe work area through knowledge and practice of safe and efficient food and safety practices Accurately perform and record monitoring activities, process verifications, and audits throughout the facility including raw material audits, documenting deviations and/or recording corrective actions taken Monitoring and enforcing all plant specific and corporate food safety programs Prepare samples and perform product and/or material testing Perform environmental swabbing Performing pre-operational inspections and along with performing quality monitoring of product and processes Documenting and maintaining record keeping utilizing a computer as necessary Auditing supplies to maintain inventory and designing and implementing new procedures and/or techniques Interacting regularly with peers and management to pursue continuous improvement of facility operations and promote a teamwork focused environment Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures. Maintaining a safe and clean work environment Other duties as assigned
