About The Position

As a Quality Technician, you’ll inspect and test materials and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards. You’ll work side by side with production teams to quickly identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues, helping keep operations running smoothly. Along the way, you’ll maintain accurate inspection and test records that support continuous improvement and compliance. About the Role Partner with production and operations teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve quality issues related to blueprints, specifications, gauging/equipment design, and machine or product capability. Inspect and verify product quality using precision measuring and layout tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gages, and optical comparators. Maintain accurate and organized quality records, monitoring and analyzing both hard-copy and electronic assurance logs, check sheets, and related documentation. Communicate quality concerns and improvement opportunities with Managers and Supervisors to support continuous improvement and internal/external performance goals. Support product testing and customer excellence, participating in rifle reliability, durability, function, and accuracy testing, assisting with product training, and adhering to all firearm safety, range rules, and Barrett marksmanship standards. About You You’re detail-oriented, hands-on, and take pride in doing things the right way. You work well across teams, communicate clearly, and enjoy solving problems on the floor, not just on paper. You value precision, safety, and accountability, and you’re motivated by being part of a team that delivers world-class products without compromise.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED, required.
  • ASQ certifications such as CQI, CQT, CQE or CQA, required.
  • Maintain eligibility to work with firearms under state and federal guidelines.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in quality, engineering, machining or related functions, preferred.
  • Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
  • Non-destructive testing (magnetic particle or liquid penetrant) experience.
  • Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality system requirements.
  • ASQ certifications such as CQI, CQT, CQE or CQA, preferred.
