About The Position

Insituform Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Quality Technician - 2nd Shift. Requirements

  • Must have ability to identify and repair defects with drader gun, ritmo gun, and hand sewing.
  • Ability to work with others in problem solving.
  • Must possess the knowledge of the various materials used within the various manufacturing processes.
  • Must maintain high level of quality.
  • Must be able to keep accurate records.
  • Must maintain an extremely orderly work place.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as a supervisor / team leader a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Process audits during production to ensure quality.
  • Perform testing of the flamebond, seam and splice processes during production to ensure quality.
  • Perform product audits during production to ensure products meet customer requirements.
  • Able to Identify defects, determine the disposition of the defect and complete the INCR process.
  • Ability to make repairs including, but not limited to: repairs with the Ritmo Gun, drader gun, sew and patch repairs, field splices, etc.
  • Backup for the floor auditor, material testing, and sewing operator if required.
  • Inspect incoming raw materials to standards
  • Perform calibration and verification of measurement tools.
  • Assist with updating work instructions, forms and other documentation.
  • Perform verification of turn ropes, tapers, transitions and other specialty orders.
  • May require night shift or split shift coverage.
  • Other duties as required
