About The Position

We are seeking a dependable Quality Control (QC) Technician to join our team. This position is primarily responsible for the inspection of incoming materials, in-process and finished assemblies, identifying defects, documenting results, and working closely with production teams to drive continuous improvement and prevent quality issues. This is an onsite, full-time position, located in our Liberty Lake, WA facility. Salary: $20 - 21 per hour. Schedule is Tuesday - Friday 6am-4pm

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of experience in inspection and/or manufacturing, including working with precision instruments.
  • Basic understanding or equivalent work experience in ISO 9001 standards
  • Familiar with statistical process control, 5S, and Lean concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for up to 10 hours, walk, talk, hear, grasp, reach, lift 30lbs., pull/push 100lbs., carry 30lbs.
  • Must be able to perform repetitive tasks.
  • Must don and doff Personal Protective Equipment and work in a cleanroom environment.
  • Will be exposed to static magnetic fields and magnetic components.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus with or without corrective lenses.
  • Must be able to differentiate between colors.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials, in-process assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections using measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and test fixtures.
  • Document inspection results, nonconformances, and corrective actions in quality records and systems.
  • Identify, isolate, and report nonconforming materials or products.
  • Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to resolve quality issues and support root cause analysis.
  • Support corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to reduce defects and improve processes.
  • Verify adherence to work instructions, assembly procedures, and quality control plans
  • Assist with internal audits, process audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe inspection area.
  • Maintain the Frencken America measurement tool calibration process.
  • Meet output requirements to support Production schedule.
  • Take initiative to seek productivity improvements.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, management, and employees.
  • Performs all other duties as necessary or assigned.
