Quality Technician – Hourly – Irving, TX Job Description: Performs final inspection audits to customer requirements and SDI industry standards Maintain and complete inspection records. Conducts layered process and other internal manufacturing audits Record quality defects and reports deficiencies Read and understand mechanical prints Check production work orders for clarity and verify quality against actual product Working knowledge of developing work instructions and control plans Analyze and support improvements for scrap and rework through corrective actions o Communicates with manufacturing, order entry or other departments to resolve issues
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in quality or related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Must be able to use calipers, squares, and tape measure
- Must be able to use software such as Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and Teams
- Ability read mechanical drawings
- Written and oral communication skills
- Must be available for overtime when necessary
Nice To Haves
- Bi-Lingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Strong organization and attention to detail skills along with the ability to hand multiple projects at once
Responsibilities
