About The Position

We are seeking a Quality Technician who is detail‑oriented, safety‑focused, and committed to producing high‑quality work. This role supports the Quality Assurance Manager and plays an important part in ensuring product accuracy and reliability.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of related experience or 1 year in a manufacturing environment (sheet metal experience preferred)
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Commitment to safety and quality
• Integrity, reliability, and the ability to work independently
• Professional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods
• Use of hands for handling, feeling, and reaching
• Ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally
• Vision requirements: close, distance, color, and depth perception
• Must wear safety glasses and steel‑toe boots
• Follow all safety procedures and use equipment properly
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and shop documentation
• Follow ISO and operational procedures
• Perform basic math using whole numbers, fractions, decimals, and percentages
• Use Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Apply technical knowledge and seek assistance when tasks are new
• Meet attendance and overtime requirements

Nice To Haves

• Additional technical training or college-level coursework is a plus
• sheet metal experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Inspect products for correct dimensions, assembly accuracy, and compliance with customer specifications
• Perform product layouts
• Inspect materials for visual defects
• Perform basic product testing
• Assist with containment activities as needed
• Collect internal defect data and complete basic data entry
• Use basic tools and gauges (calipers, micrometers, etc.)
• Work primarily within one product line
